ICM Controls Brings Affordability to Touchscreen Market with Launch of i3 Series Touch Thermostats
 
NORTH SYRACUSE, NY June 12, 2014– ICM Controls Corporation, a leader in the manufacture and supply of electronic controls to the HVAC/R industry, introduces its new i3 Series of touch thermostats, designed to bring affordability through innovation to the touchscreen marketplace.
 
With the i3 Series, ICM took a new approach to capacitive sensing technology to create a highly affordable series of touch thermostats. The series features fourteen programmable models, including a family of Wi-Fi models capable of being remotely controlled via an app on smart phones. Set-up takes just seconds on the Wi-Fi model using the ICM App, which is available for both iOS and Android platforms.  Other models include options for dual powered operation and humidity controls.
 
The patent-pending, dynamic, and intuitive interface of the i3 Series Thermostats effortlessly guides the user through the programming screen, simplifying customization and maximizing energy efficiency. Users have the ability choose from a seven-day, five-two day, or five-one-one day program options. Additionally, i3 Series users can also schedule the thermostat to conserve energy while users are away from home using the Vacation Feature.
 
Other standard features include a large display that is buttonless, easy to read, and backlit, a removable logo plate for customer personalization, user coded lockout to restrict access to advanced configuration, design that comes with a mounting base for fast installation, and, as with all ICM products, the thermostats are proudly manufactured in the U.S.A.
