Responsibilities:

• Leads a team whom: develops coding for new products, maintains and modifies code for existing products, using embedded C programming.
• Development and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Acts as the architect of the team to design & build software systems.
• Collaborates with Hardware Design Engineers on hardware / software system integration.
• Accountable for execution & delivery of software products assigned to their team.
• Facilitates and ensures individual and team roles and responsibilities are understood.
• Develops and tracks project deliverables & timelines.
• Works with project team members to identify and mitigate development risks.
• Ability to perform hands-on coding & troubleshooting.
• Manage outsourcing project development & maintenance with embedded, app & web hosting.
• Seeks and implements methodologies to improve velocity of team.
• Set performance goals for direct reports.
• Report project status’ to Engineering director.
