Assembly Operations

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

ICM Controls is seeking (3) outstanding Assembly Operators.

2nd shift | 3:30 pm – 12:00 am M-F

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $15.50 – $17.00 per hour plus shift differential for working second shift. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works individually or with group to de-panel and wire printed circuit boards, inspecting board for flaws or damage and confirming all required parts are secured to panel.
Inserts and connects wires as needed using mechanical device to clamp wire terminal end properly to board.
Completes assembly using manual & automatic hand tools and staking equipment.
Performs first article of inspection (FAI) to ensure initial unit functions properly and meets requirements.
Produces and affixes required labels on parts, marks tested units with appropriate stamp, and places QC stamp mark as required.
Performs check to verify all information on labels agrees with part numbers, quantity numbers.
Produces coated probes, labeling and enclosing with literature in plastic bags.
Reports all production through use of company information system.

HIRING REQUISITES

Education: High school or GED required.
Experience: 6 months of experience working in fast paced environment requiring reference to written instructions. Soldering experience required. Electronics industry experience a plus.
