ICM496-60A
The ICM496-60A is a 60A non-fused electrical disconnect featuring a pre-wired, external, and replaceable surge protective device (SPD). This model includes a Type 1 SPD designed for 240VAC split-phase applications. In the event of a surge, the ICM496-60A absorbs excess voltage up to its rated limits, helping protect connected equipment. The unit incorporates an external, thermally protected surge device (TMOV technology), which safely disables the SPD if thermal limits are exceeded. The NEMA Type 3R enclosure makes the ICM496-60A suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. The ICM496-60A is rated for use on circuits delivering up to 10kA RMS symmetrical current at 240VAC maximum.
