30A Fused Disconnect with External and Replaceable Surge Protector
The ICM496-30A is a 30A fused electrical disconnect featuring a pre-wired, external, and replaceable surge protective device (SPD). This model includes a Type 1 SPD designed for 240VAC split-phase applications. In the event of a surge, the ICM496-30A absorbs excess voltage up to its rated limits, helping protect connected equipment. The unit incorporates an external, thermally fused surge protection device (SPD), which safely disables the device if thermal limits are exceeded. The NEMA type 3R enclosure makes the ICM496-30A suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, the ICM496-30A is rated for use on circuits delivering up to 10kA RMS symmetrical current at 240VAC maximum.- 120VAC single-phase, 240VAC split-phase
